Allow the blood,
To express who I am.
To reflect my inner emotions
To make up for the hurt I've caused.

Allow the blood,
To show my sorrow,
To inform those, that I can't take it.
To say that I still can bleed.

Allow the blood
To show my appreciation
To tell how much I love my life
To reflect how I fell about everything.

Allow the blood
To wash away my fears,
To make the pain disappear,
To know I am still human.

Allow the blood
To show I'm broken
To let those know I don't want to be fixed
To show what I've become.

One drop of blood shows a lot
But that's
Who I am, and
What I'm feeling.
When all the blood disappears,
So will I.
