Things are never the same.
You always get called a nasty name.

Things are never what they seem.
You always have a nasty dream.

Things are never beautiful and bright.
You may not get to sleep some nights.

Things are never the best.
You are always put to the test.

Things are never complete.
You get treated the way you treat.

Things are never alright.
You may not see another night.

Things are always crazy.
People are always acting lazy.

Things are always sad.
People are always mad.

Things are always wrong.
People always take too long.

Things are always deep in a hole.
People. Do they ever reach their goals?
