And I Smile

by SilenceInDecember   Aug 27, 2006

Staring,
At the dim Light as it close around you,
no can hear the silent prays i pray.
You saw beneath my smile
the cold, empty smile
and as i lie here
on the cold solid pavement
the lights swimming in my head,
my pain, my suffering.
injecting into you like a needle
and you became my friend,
but i flew higher and wanted more
the headlights burned my eyes,
it didn't see me.
And know i know you didn't lie
and i lie here.
In a puddle of my own blood,
I hear the police say
"She not going to make it"
I, myself cry.
my head drives you into my mind,
I die
with the thought of you,
And i Smile
