Standing, Waiting, Wishing

by Kristyn   Aug 27, 2006

She stands waiting in the rain,
for someone to take the pain.

She's cold and lost, she feels so alone,
She has nothing to posses, nothing to own.

She stands waiting in the pouring rain,
she looked, she's waited, no-one came.

She feels as if she doesn't belong,
her poor decisions gone terribly wrong.

But she knows she is loved,
watched over by someone above.
Her empty heart needs to be filled,
In her confidence, she needs to build.

She stands waiting in the pouring rain,
She still waits with all her pain.
