A ball of yarn
a spool of thread
some yellow ribbons
and a dye of red;
give me a thimble
and some needles too
stick the pins
onto a cloth of blue;
sequins, hooks and beads-
oh my gosh,
where does this poem lead?
i guess this nonsense has to stop
but this is what i have in
my sewing box.
