Seasons

by N8   Aug 27, 2006

The Seasons change
just like it all.
Nobodys the same
summer spring, winter fall

The Sun is Bright
and everythings right.
Im happy with you
and you seem happy too.

Spring begins
the flowers bloom
but none as pretty
as lil ol you

Then winter comes
your eyes turn to grey.
Just as the skies
begin to haze.
We were happy
but now its fake.
Were drowning each other
in this relationship lake

Now falls here
we barely say hi
from a summer good time
to a winter goodbye

Hey Nate! You haven't posted new poetry in ages, it's good to see some more.

It was kind of interesting how you spread the relationship throughout the seasons. And I just thought I'd mention that I love the 'relationship lake' metaphor, very creative.

It's cute, most of your poems are. Nice job.
