Best Friends Come To An End

Once thought a best friend forever
But had clearly changed so much
Someone I called a sister
Who lost all of my trust

You promised to always be there
But when I needed you the most
You never came to help me
Instead I was left alone

Everything that you once told me
Is now just one big lie
You never kept one promise
You always left my side

Some say best friends last a life time
But that I just don’t buy
There comes a time you grow a part
And your friendship somehow dies
