An exchanging of words
Between a friend and a friend
Three words combined
Made this friendship end

A girl and a boy
Friends for so long
Years of passion
Made his love for her strong

They were best friends
But he didnt tell her
He was afraid of rejection
Would she love him, he wasnt sure

One day after a couple years
He decided to tell her
Disregarding his fears

He went up to her
Told her these simple words
'I love you'
And destroyed this girl

She said 'get away from me'
'I dont wanna see you again'
His worst fear came true
He now lost his best friend

One month later
She left the state
She left him with
So much wrath and hate

Two years later
She came back to town
She came back to news
That brought her down

Her so called 'best friend'
Unfortunately died
He was found in the closet
He obviously committed suicide

She felt guilty
She began to cry
Rejecting made
Her best friend die

An exchanging of words
No harm was said
Three words combined
Left one friend dead
