Dont Let Go

by darkheart   Aug 29, 2006

Life is so precious, a value so great
But my smiles in life are nothing, but fake.
Everyone has something or someone to live for
But I feel nothing in life; there's gotta be more.
You're here temporarily, but what if you let go?
I don't think I'll be stable; I cant make it on my own.
The situation I'm in is just a bunch of illusions.
The circles I keep going round in are the core of my confusion.
You already have someone, so how can you relate?
I'm just somebody who can easily be replaced.
So how can you know what I'm going through, how do you understand?
To me, life is so small, so tiny, it can be easily crushed in my hands.
I'm hoping that our feelings for each other will definitely last.
But it'll only take two seconds for you to end it in a flash.
I'm only restricted to waiting for you every day.
Hoping you wont end this; just hoping you'll stay.
I only have you to lean on, but you have two
What's it matter if you lose me because I'll only be losing you.
So sometimes I question my doubts- if you really do care
I know you do, but still, it doesn't reassure my fear.
You're all I'm holding onto as I'm sinking in despair
Don't let go of me, I'm wanting you to be near
I wish i could sleep forever, Life's not as it seems
It's always changing; Just lose myself in an endless dark dream
So when life's hit its peak and there's nothing left to be found,
I'll close my eyes; fall backwards into darkness without a sound.
