I'm Your Demon

by Rika Harrowvale   Aug 29, 2006

Hello little child, how goes your dreams?
You're stirring in your sleep, and I hear your screams...
Absorbing your nightmares, feeding off your fear,
Happy that I got the chance to be here...
Your nightmares are strong, and your fear, it fills me.
By your nightmares I'm taken by ecstasy,
But don't be fooled, your nightmares are real
And through them, your happiness I'll steal.
Night after night you dream of these,
And for you it has become a terrible disease.
Your fears, they scare you, and come true while you sleep,
And when you wake I witness you weep.
Don't stop having them my darling dear,
To survive I must absorb your pain and your fear.
Just ignore that voice in your head
And the wicked laughter you hear as you lay in your bed.
It's only me haunting your dreams...
I am your demon, and I want to hear your screams!
