True Love

by Isabella Bedard   Aug 30, 2006

Can I have your hand,
your heart to hold;
our future, written,
but left untold
for us to find
within our souls;
there's so much I
just wish to know.

Will you leave
or us, surrender?
Take my heart
beneath the thunder
and let us roar
beneath the moon;
love like ours'
won't end too soon.

Through stormy weather
and the shinning sun,
I'll always know
you're my only one
and through the clouds
that part our ways,
I know we'll have
our lonely days

but you mean the world
to my little heart
and I know our souls
shall never part;
kiss my head
and tuck me in;
this love of ours'
can be no sin...

I love you, more than anything.
