Dying Lullaby

I seriously just want to die
I slit my wrists, I don't know why
The pain I feel is enough to satisfy
My deepest dreams are a frightening cry

My sad attempts to justify
The tears pouring from my eye
My parents I simply cannot gratify
Please tell me why should I try

To forget my pain I just get high
My very thoughts the drugs just fry
Instead of forgetting my pain, they amplify
