Abandoned poetry

Its been a long time, feels like a century
i don't want to forgot my gift
but i feel ashamed- i abandoned it
i left it out in the rain
i was the one who suffered
again and again
i left my words in the rain
the words, the letters of ambition
speechless diction without question
too busy? so little time?
no excuse, its simply abuse
time to start anew
time to reply back to you
my only hope
the English language
the heart of poetry
simple words
a few letters
let it out
