"An Apple Too Tart For Your Liking"

by Rhiannon   Aug 30, 2006

An apple,
Red and gleaming
Hanging from the branch
Of a glory us t r e e.
Take a bite and damn a world
Fate.
Hate me.
Take me.
It doesn't hurt.
I dare you.
I don't believe in your apple.
I don't believe in MY damning sins.
I believe in myself.
And you can't take that from me
