you all say you want a guy thats different
so used to the dirt
you dont even know when a diamond stands infront of you
because of your past
you judge me with your experiences
you bottle me up
thinking you got me all figured out
so sure of my movements
predictions almost for told
dont ask for what you want
if your not prepared to identify it
tears of frustration
and the so call trust i thought we had
maybe i was wrong for thinking you were different
wrong for believing in you
hoping
loving
and keeping faith in you
perhaps i am the idiot
to think you could identify fake from real
i had no choice
when the first time
my heart you managed to steal
you have lessons to learn
classes to attend
to convince your heart and mind
to change your thinking
no matter how hard i try
twisting the tables
taking different routes
but you still take me for a Typical Guy
