Final Prayer

by Ngairini Pollett   Aug 31, 2006

I'm slowly being taken over.
Darkness has prevailed.
I no longer control my life,
I am going off the rail.

Down along the rocky bitumen,
my life is turning evil.
I never imagined my life this way.
I've never known the devil.

Now I wish I still had God,
Id give anything just to feel
the experience I once had,
He was my Armour coat of steel.

Without Him, I can’t even breathe,
I don't know what to do,
but now God as my final prayer
I wish I still had You.

To hold me as you did before
every now and then,
to take me back as your own child.
I love you God, Amen
