The Date

You picked me up 20 minutes late
For our very first date
We got to the movies and began to cuddle
For that moment everything seemed to suttle
We saw this movie that was crappy but i was with you so i was happy

We drove around for the night
Man i wish you were holding me tight
We ended up at the river
and there i began to quiver
we sat in your car
and stared at the stars

You leaned over and kissed me
I was caught by surprise
My heart started to flutter
My palms grew sweaty
My emotions were like a roller coaster ride
So wild and unsteady

I looked at you looking at me
I didn't know what to say
After this will everything be OK
Will you leave or will you stay

You drove me home and kissed me hand
You said hopefully this will happen again
I ran inside and knew this night was the best thing that ever happened to me
I fell asleep dreaming that you will always be there.....
