Ghost town

by Christine   Aug 31, 2006

A pale cold moon
A winter sky
Distant stars
A mournful cry
A chilling cold
Empty streets
Darkened doorways
Shadows creep
It's a ghost town
A spectral sight
A haunted place
Forever night
A phantoms'realm
A blackened deep
A shadowed world
Without sleep
Out from windows
Faces peer
Silent watchers
Disappear
Fading footsteps
Soft whisper
Groaning trees
Shadows stir
It's a ghost town
A spectral sight
A haunted place
Forever night
A phantoms' realm
A blackened deep
A shadowed world
Without sleep
