Through the Fateful Crowd

by Levi   Sep 1, 2006

Screaming so loud,
You can hear me above the crowd.
All my thoughts are so impure,
And I desperately search for a cure.
Pushing my way through thousands of faces,
All of them staring at my disgraces.
Their eyes penetrate my mind,
I'm slowly slipping away from time.

The essence of my soul,
The darkness has taken its toll.
Never thought my light would fade,
If only my faith had stayed.
I mightn't be slipping away,
I have the chance of dying each and every day.
Yet I will push on towards my goal,
Even if my body goes numb and my soul turns cold.
