Bad Day?

Today's one of those days when nothing is going right
Where are my glasses? I can't see a sight
The dishes are piled high and the trash can is overflowed
And of course the jungle in the backyard needs to be mowed
I'm running out of clothes and I know why
the laundry is piled practically to the sky
I need to take a shower but where's a clean towel?
I forgot to feed the dog and he's beginning to growl
The phone starts to ring but I can't find it in all the mess
Oh my I need something to relieve this stress
I put on some old clothes and started to clean
Soon the house begins to gleam and the laundry's done
I look at the clock and it says 1:00!
What am I doing? It's the middle of the night
Something really isn't right
I open my eyes
and much to my surprise
I realize I was dreaming and go back to bed
Oh what a horrible nightmare that entered my head
