Harsh Words

Harsh words go straight to the heart,
She knew it would happen right from the start.
Everything was wrong not one thing right,
Her life turned around after that one fight.

Innocent words no meant to do harm,
But deep down inside she was not so calm.
You would never think one person could cause this,
But everything she felt, everyone would miss.

One cold night when she was alone,
Thinking and worrying as she held the phone.
Should she call him and solve there fight,
Or sit there sad and alone all that night.

She sat staring into her life, what had gone so wrong,
As she listened over and over to there very own song.
Smiles, laughs no one thought there relationship would end like this,
But she will always remember that very last kiss.

All she wanted was the pain to end,
So she picked up knife thinking the scars would mend.
How wrong she was as she fell to the floor,
But the love they had will last forever more.
