Broken promises
the ones you said were true
trying to find a way
hoping we get through
Moments of happiness
and days filled with smiles
followed by moments of sadness
knowing that for you i'd run for miles
Promises aren't meant to be broken
atleast thats what i thought
thinking of wors unspoken
living for something i forgot
You promised that you'd try to work it out
You promised we'd be together
but broken promises are what you give to me
at least thats what you let me see
walking to a place unknown
wishing that you'd be there to guide me
trying to find what i lost
but the thing i lost was me
