Hurting.

by Macabre   Sep 1, 2006

It hurts to frown,
to always look down,
to pretend that you care.

It hurts even more,
to smile like before,
and think of what we once shared.

You hurt when you're gone,
you hurt when you're near.
So I can't just tell you to go away.

But so long as I'm here,
and hiding a tear,
You'll always be stubborn this way.

You used to smile,
and laugh a lot too.
Nothing pleased you more than
"I Love You."

But now you're different,
a bit more distant,
and there's hardly a 'me' or 'you'.

I miss you a lot,
and hate you even more,
but you don't seem to have a clue.
