Mirror

by Macabre   Oct 5, 2006

Before me I see a pretty face,
It's pale and beautiful, full of grace.

With tiny little eyes and a cute button nose,
On this pretty little face, not a feeling shows.

That face can hide what's known in her heart,
And locked away it sits, mysterious, dark.

She plasters on a pretty little smile,
and hopes that that pain will be gone in a while.

So I continue to stare at that pretty little face,
Now it's broken, out of place.

But still I love her, and she'll never know,
Because on this face, few feelings are shown.
