To the Abyss

Can we please break this habit once and for all.
All hope is not lost as we continue to crawl.
Because when I stand beside you I feel so tall.
But standing up against the world is different, I feel useless and small.
With the pain seeping in, loosing you slowly beings to enthrall.
Pushing me, cornering me, pinning up me against the wall.
You have drained me of all my emotions,
My knees buckle under the pressure as everything around me begins to fall.

Its true, for ignorance truly is bliss.
I didn't want to believe it, but we have shared our final kiss.
As we reminisce with reluctant happiness, we reminisce about all the facked up times we are going to miss.
Its as if your writing down my confessions, as we fade into the abyss.
What happened in the past stays, because without it none of this exists.

To the abyss, as we fade to black.
This serenade has a certain meaning that others lack.
It exists to bring truth to anyone from a millionaire to a hermit that lives in a shack.
If someone truly loves you, just ask and I\\\'m sure they will take you back.
To the abyss, as we fade to black.
