Envious Disaster

by -The-Undying-   Sep 7, 2006

I wonder to myself as we weep in our own pity and self defeat. Why is victory seeming to take us forever?
Our emotions cast aside as they are hidden ever so discrete. It has recently dawned on me that my choices have not been so clever.
To make it to the top I lie and cheat, consuming my own self hate and making this time alone seem like an endless endeavor.
Each time we fake a smile life takes away a part of us leaving us feel incomplete. To earn it back we would almost do whatever.

I will be your slave and you can be my master.
Laying beside you, touch me and make my heart beet even faster.
Like my love there is bound to be cracks in even the most perfect plaster.
I need to talk to you before this all becomes one big envious disaster.

I can be your master and you can be my slave.
I will tell you what you can do and how you should behave.
If you are in need of help, I will be there to make the save.
I will try and protect you, stand tall and remain brave.
Bring what you most desire and crave.
Laying beside you, both in life and when we are taken to our grave.

I'm here to hold you up when you become to weak to stand.
Make life happy and fun were as it was once bland.
Make effort to fallow out our life as was once planned.
And make the warm feeling in your heart stay as we walk hand in hand.
