Lost Friends...

by broken reflection   Sep 2, 2006

I left you all so suddenly,
And I am so sorry,
I was terrible to leave so many of you behind,
With just a "goodbye"

If I knew earlier,
I would have told you...
You guys were so important to me,
I wish we were what we once had been!

Helen, you were so sweet,
So modest,
One of a kind in this day and age,
Like a story wanting to turn every page

Veronica, you were so individual,
You never took anybody for granted,
You were always calm, collected and cool,
Like the ocean, you were free but had boundaries

Trent, a rebel for sure,
A future of rule-breaking I foresaw,
But you were always a good mate,
A guy who'd never leave another behind

Josh, a life of greatness lay ahead of you,
A person you'd spot out to be true,
A shy guy,
A friend I wish I'd got know better

Jessica, you got me through the harshest of times,
You were one of a kind,
Inquisitive, tough, and smart,
A fantastic friend who cried for me as I left...
I am sorry if I caused any pain,
But I assure you I suffered just the same.

Great friends,
A harsh end,
I am sorry I left so abruptly,
If I only knew, I would have told you sooner,
And perhaps our friendship would have lasted longer...

**********
I am so sorry; these were my actual friends, and I wish to reunite with them someday... My name is Samantha I left them August, 2000, grade four. I miss them so much, we were at the Primary school called Whittington in Geelong, and if anyone knows of Helen, Veronica, Trent, Joshua, or/and Jessica, I would be so grateful. I miss you guys so much and I am so, so sorry that I haven't tried contacting you any time sooner. xoxoxoxo
