Sadness is all around
It never dies down
All over the world terrible things are happening
Bombs going off
Claming innocent children lives
Knife attacks
Torturing families forever
I sit and watch the news at 10 o’clock
The same things flashing up
Death
Destruction
Pain
And torture
Happening everywhere
There is no escaping
The terrible things just keep going on and on
When will the world be at peace?
Surely it will
But what will it take?
More innocent lives taken from them
Destruction
Pain
Or forgiveness
