Luminary Longing

by Shane   Sep 4, 2006

It is only when
I see your face
my reality
I displace
My grip
on calm composure
vanishes
with your exposure
And in this loss
I find I do
nothing less
of loving you
All the stars
stay shy of sight
knowing your
not out tonight
They know
they can't compare
to the power
of your stare
Or the light
that comes with this
intensity
of your kiss
I can do
nothing more
sit back, wonder
and adore
Till the time
the stars align
and the hand you hold
is mine
Cause without you
my path is rough
and the heavens
are not enough
