Little Boy

by Jordan   Sep 4, 2006

Little boy with the plastic gun,
Have you come to shed some light?
Raise your fists as high as you can
And tame the masses with your acid tongue.
But, I see through your tough exterior, so let's cut the bullshit and tell me what wars you're here to fight.

Little boy with the crooked smile,
Have you come to spread the disease?
I'm not so easy to persuade and I think that confuses you, sweetheart.
Raise your burning flag as high as you can and spit in your brother's eye; a message conveyed.
I can see through your plagiarized philosophy, so let's rip the facade of wisdom apart.

Little boy with the blind eyes,
Have you come to vomit your lofty opinion?
What you've become is something worthy of despise.
So, I'll smile and wave good-bye with my middle finger
rising as high as it can to claim your grand attention.
There was never any room within your heart for me to linger.

Little boy, isn't that sad...

This was inspired by someone I used to love, but I can't even look at them anymore. Sad.
