What is life to you?

Life is a struggle
most live for others
is very difficult to do a simple thing like being true to oneself
every move i make i gotta be looking around like I'm about to commit a criminal act

90% of what i want to do
what will probably live me free and happy remain undone
where as the remain 10% that i so much hate doing get done without a blink of an eye

at times i wonder who is in control
me myself and i or circumstances
when i say they got me trapped
i can hear I'm lying through my teeth
they say only a sucker remain in one position for too long
no 1 is perfect all are going through some madness
this statement was made to keep us going forward
but surprisingly this saying got us moving in circles

    Indeed, we want control but that control is not always in our hands. Our fate is in many way predetermined. We would love to make a change and to do the things we would love to do but circumstances prevent us from doing so. I totally understand because i feel that i am in the same situation as you. I need to break that cycle that im in but breaking out is indeed one of the most difficult thing to do. But at least after reading your poem, i realised that i'm not alone in my feeling and it helps. Thanks
