A Rose's Place

by Mollie   Mar 9, 2004

A rose got misplaced,
it was put in a tulip vase,
it red color just so pure,
when looked apone puts you in amaze.

Something to put to mind,
something that’s so refined,
it does not brag or thinks to highly,
it sits patiently to the side.

A rose is the symbol of love,
love is said to be sent from above,
so why does this tulip showered rose,
just sit like a dove.

Because love does not interrogate,
love patiently waits,
love will be found nomater who you are,
love will wait for its true fate.

So until the rose is picked from the vase,
all the rose can do is wait,
the rose is patient, tender, and kind,
it will wait to be put in its place.

( This rose had thought it found its place :'( )
