Secrets Of Her Life

by Arcane Blondie   Sep 5, 2006

Secrets of her life,
Hidden, engraved in her flesh,
Everyday reminding of the past,
Raining on temporary good in the day,
These scars, a result of releasing all the pain,
Yet causing so much in the future,
Never will they fade away,
Neither them or their vivid memories,
Grinding the hurt into her heart,
Blackening it by the day,
Trust no longer lives within,
Hatred and sadness is all that thrives,
They are the secrets of her life,
Life that is worth nothing to her.

Raining on temporary good in the day,

This is my favorite line, very metaphorical.
The rhythm is a little off, but it still works, and I think this poem deserves better then 3 so I'm giving it a 5.
