Inside a dark attic
In my mind
Lost long ago to a society
Of un-seeing eyes and judgmental faces

Forever inside
Of my dark little attic
My head of cobwebs and dust
Spill my morbid and despondent poems

Forever my attic
Of thoughts
Drew only more and more pain
Rather than closure…
