It Hurts

by I - O - W - A   Sep 6, 2006

Every time I Tried To Right This Line
I Think Of How You Was Mine
You Took Over My Thoughts, My Mind
Leaving Me Unable To Seek And Find
Even Though You Treated Me Unkind
The Trust For You I Can Still Find
Friends Ask Me Was It All Worth The Pain?
Was It Worth All Those Nights Out In The Rain?
I Try To Answer But Words Don't Come
Living In Your Shadows No Longer Fun
Why Wont You Let Me Go, Be Free?
To Swim Free In An Eternal Sea?
Or Sleep Silently Thru The Starry Night?
Without Waking Up In Such A Fright?
I Know You Say You Loved Me
And I Was The One Who Held The Key
But The Key Is To What?
Some Random Shot?
Who Knows Maybe The One Who Care's
Or Maybe The One Who's Bed You Share
Its Not My Bed Anymore
You Threw Me Down On The Floor
Like The Cloths You No Longer Ware
You Wonder Why I Think Your Unfair?
Look In The Mirror, And Prey
That My Heart Don't Turn Grey.
Like Those After Me
Not Too Blind To See
For I Am The Best Friend You'll Ever Know
And I Take No Shame In Letting It Show
In All The Ways You Hurt Me So
My Love And Friendship For You Will Grow
Thats What Makes Me So Unique
The One You Want To Keep
