No Turning Back

by Alex Ellsworth   Sep 7, 2006

He doesn't know what to do. His friends have abandoned him. The one he loves is gone.

His family taunts him about his mistakes. His parents say he has never finished anything.

In his mind he is lost. Wandering alone full of questions.

His only friend is the shining Colt resting in his lap.

He wonders how it will taste; the cold steel of the revolver.

He begins to think about where he went wrong in life.

He has already written his farewell to the world..... it's too late to turn back.

The taste of steel makes him gag. An explosion of memories hit him and he begins to regret but its too late the bullet is already moving.

A single tear falls from his cheek, apologizing to the world. Now nobody can say that he never finished anything.

Wow. What caused you to have this much depression, to have so much description in it is beyond me. I know what you mean with your parents telling you that you never finish anything.

I liked how you described the taste of a bullet, and the steel. Not many people would/could do that. Great job. =) 5/5 xoxo
