These Little Games

by Samantha lynn   Sep 7, 2006

I may be the fool here
but you're the one pulling my strings,
I wonder what will happen
when we're no longer playing these games.
Hey let's play a friendly game inside,
it's called hide and seek;
you can hide in the closet
and I'll count to 100,
before I lock the door on accident and walk away.
Oh, I'm just kidding. Yanking on your chain,
do you really think I'm sweet enough
to pass as innocent?
Maybe you should adjust my halo a little tighter
so it won't fall off,
How about around your neck?
No? Oh well,
I guess that just leaves me to sit here in the rain,
and make believe one day I'll take my revenge.
Oops, I did it again.
Forgetting my place and saying things out loud.
so what makes tonight any different?
You're still pathetic
and I'm still dramatic.
take a shot of Bacardi, and just kick but to unwind
maybe tomorrow we'll be fine
"Just fine."
