Once I had some pride
But that was too short lived
I tried so hard to give
But giving needs appreciation
And the strong realisation
That you can't continue to give.

You were my reason to live
I loved you beyond stupidity
And all too fast and easily.
I love you more than life itself
More than all the money all the wealth

I lost my commonsense
Believing in the big pretense
No more, its time to understand
I can't let you be in my plans
Your too strong and I'm too weak
I definitely have a yellow streak
Especially when it comes to you.

All of this I guess I knew
But now its time, time to move along
The two of us are just too wrong.
Letting go is where its tough
But doing this I surely must
Goodbye my love I wish you well
And maybe someday you will tell
How much I loved you
