As they stare intensely
Forcing me to look away

Your arms make me feel safe
Wrapped around me tightly
Comforting me like never before

Your smiles make me feel vulnerable
As your lips curve up at me
Making me feel powerless against you

Your hands make me shiver
Trembling beneath your touch
Gently cared for and looked after

Your lips make me smile
Treating me like a treasure
A princess to special to let go

Your distance makes me sad
Missing you like a limb
Something I can't go without

Your lack of spare time
A painful ache I can't seem to fix
If only I could see you more

You mean so much to me
If only you knew
Perhaps you'd have more trust

Your words burn deep in my heart
The power to make or break me
If only you knew there implications

Like it's something I could feel
As if I could be part of it

Your gentle touch

My insecurities nagging at my mind
