Plugged

by Natasha   Sep 10, 2006

My ears are plugged but I still can hear
All their comments and disgust of someone like me
You want it to go away, the endless headache
But you know it will never stop
For goodness sake come back to reality
You are the rat and they’re the cat
A predator searching for its prey
It’s all a race, a chase for life, for breathing air
For you to be the best

My eyes are closed but still I can see
Their faces of disapproval, the disgust of someone like me
It wasn’t your fault
A bullet from a gun a simple death of how they tormented me
No word to be spoken, your death bed awaits
No one will cry the day of your goodbye
No one could see the beauty within

My mouth is sewed shut but still I can speak
The words I speak, I cry for help
You want it to evaporate the black cloud above you
Inside you know no one can hear you but you yell out from your guts
Unspoken silence, no justice was served
