Natures Waking Forest

by the love of another fills my soul   Sep 11, 2006

As dawn approaches the trees and ground, the dew makes each blade of grass glisten as if they were stars in a clear nights sky.The sun slowly rising, its brightness awakening the sleeping forest.Flower stems straighten and open their petals to the warmth of the glowing star we call the sun. Birds sing their heavenly songs, their singing wakes up the forest animals. The squirrels spirling down the trees to meet with other rising animals, all on their way to the pond of fresh, smooth water, forming from the lusciously falling sapphire wave flowing from the smooth jade green stones. Colors of the rainbow swirl about in the water as the fish spiral around. The animals sit waiting intently, as the approaching wolves sit high above them on the jade clouds in the cascading waterfall. As the wind blows, softly stirring the leaves, the brightest ivory white leader, with fur soft as fleece and a gleaming silk shine, lets out a beautiful howl to awaken the world beyond their gentle forest.
