My eyes can't seem to focus,

You've told me so many lies,

I wanted to believe what you were telling me,
But now I know I was just being used,

You told me so many things,
You told me that we clicked,
And now seeing you with someone else,
Leaves me feeling sick,

I don't know why things have changed,

We seemed to be so happy together,
We seemed to have such fun,

I remember the times we spent together,
Our hands would become one,
The way you would gently kiss my lips,
The way you'd touch my bum,

The night we just lay in your bed,
Watching each other breathe,
Staring into each others eyes,
I never wanted to leave,

The way you used to cuddle me,
And kiss me on the head,
You never seemed to care who saw,
We didn't care what anyone said,

And I felt so privileged,
To have met a man like you,
A man who generally seemed to care,
A man who was actually true,

But that's why I was fooled you see,
It seems it was all an act,
But now from your behaviour,
It seems decency is what you lack,

You don't speak to me anymore,
Hardly acknowledge that I'm there,
I see you flirting with the other girls,
It leaves me in despair,

Before you turned so cold towards me,
You saw a lad try his luck,
And yes we exchanged numbers,
But it didn't mean I'd get in touch,

So is this your way of getting back at me,
Are you trying to make me jealous?
It was the lad, who flirted not me,
So I think you're being rather callous,

I think you're deliberately trying to hurt me,
And you're doing a very good job,
You've left me feeling an emotional wreck,
And only wanting to sob,

But why would you want to hurt me,
If you really cared that much,
I still care for you I'll admit,
I don't want us to lose touch,

So please say it's me you want,
Say it from the heart,
Fool me into believing your feelings are true,
Please just don't keep us apart.
