Love Hurts

You hug him goodbye like it's nothing ;
when really, all you want to do is hold on forever.
But then you slowly let go, smile, walk away to make things easier.
Then all you do is cry your way home because you know,
no matter how hard you try, things will never go back to how they use to be.
you have to realize sometimes sooner than later,
that you cant make someone love you.
Sometimes you have to let go, and let them be free.
That is when love hurts the most.
