Nonsense

Waiting...
Always waiting...
Waiting for the ripples to subside

Tiny blue leaves
They satin the sheer, white surface
Big brown ones copy

They are the same

Bleach-stained bottom--
grimy design
Bumpy, white plastic

Half the sky is gray
and the storm is coming
The sounds are faint and distant

The birds and day crickets hush
The water bounces and breaks
The loud buzz surrounds.

One, lone feather floats as the water calms.
Once again, the sky is half gray
and the clouds say "Au Revior" to their "bravo!"s

Distant chants and cheers
Once and for all, I cover my ears
and take a dive while sucking in
never to be seen again

**What?? I'll explain:
The "blue leaves" are the leaves hanging on a tree above a body of water. The "brown leaves" are the ones floating. The reflection of the blue, high-up leaves sit and mesh with the brown, dead ones and "they are the same". This represents that no person is any better than any other person.
The poems as a whole depicts the story of some people who seem to give up just MOMENTS too soon. The storm was JUST over, yet the person gave up!

I didn't understand most of the poem, until the end, but it captured me and put me in that state, like if you're high, except without the drugs. I'm hyper right now, and what I'm trying to say is, I really liked the poem, the flow is good, and you have a nice amount of adjectives, to make the scene enjoyable. Keep up the good work.
