Sitting Here

by Brooke Mason   Sep 13, 2006

So I was sitting here
connecting the dots on
the past

Sometimes all I can do is
just sit here and
think

How could things have gone so wrong?
Why did it end?
Where did we go?

I hear the song you sing
the one to her
I cry

I hear the song you sing
the one to me
and I cry

I cry both from pain
and from happiness
it won't stop

Pain from not having you
Happiness for your own well-being
I'm dead
dead inside

Love, don't do this to me
don't leave
leave me here to die..

You poems would be so much better if they did not see only death as the alternative. This too was well written.

Im not commenting the poem its just the only way i can think of contecting you at the moment....i didnt use conjunction becaue that would be misused...i said your love...as in possesion...you're would have been misused....because it would be you are love...and that wouldnt make sence...just needed to point that out...lol
