A Suicide Note

by Raychil   Sep 13, 2006

*No, this is not a true story.

It was just too much for her
She felt it'd be easier dead
So she left a note of explanation
And put the gun up to her head

She steadied her shaking hand
As tears were soon shed
She recited the notes frail words
And this is what it said...

"Dad I'm so sorry
I tired to be like you
I played sports and studied hard
What else could I do?

Mom please forgive me
I tried to be pretty and pure
But I became a person I'm not
And I can't take it anymore

Brother I hope you'll still love me
I know that we were close
You always tried to protect me
But now freedom is what I want most

My darling baby sister
Just barely able to walk
I'm sorry you'll never know me
And we'll never get to talk

Lastly to all my friends
I'm sorry that I have to go
But I'll be watching you from Heaven
How I'll miss you so

Everyone I'm sorry
But I can't deal with this pain
Please don't cry, I'll be in a better place
And one day we'll meet again..."

When she read those last words
She couldn't help but cry
How could she leave all those people,
Take the easy way out and die?

She took the gun away from her head
She realized she almost made a mistake
Her life was for her and for all these people
And it wasn't meant for her hands to take.
