New Dawn

New Dawn

The moon is so bright
Stars make a twinkling light
My head falls down on this twilight.

The earth grows cold
My emotions want to unfold
I have so many secrets left untold.

I look up to the sky
I shout "God do you hear my cry?"
"Lord can you see me where I lie?"

A single tear falls down my cheek
I'm afraid to find, afraid to seek
I just feel so tired, so meek.

I don't know what to do
Please God give me some kind of clue
Help me to know I belong to you.

I lay down and bury my head
When I hear no words being said
My heart is so heavy like lead.

I had just given up hope
With this life I could no longer cope
My soul had been cut like a rope.

Then I feel a hand on my shoulder
I slowly look up to see who's the holder
It was my Lord Jesus, my molder.

He said " My child its going to be ok"
thoughts flooded my mind but I had nothing to say
Then he said " let me show you something if I may."

He then turned me around
and I just cried without a sound
I was staring at what I had just found.

The sky began to glow
The evidence of life to show
Darkness was flying like a crow.

I had been blind in my pain
I couldn't see what there was to gain
I forgot the sun still shines after it rains.

So the night will be gone
and peace will come like a fawn
Jesus showed me that there is always a dawn.

the flow is crappy...oh well.
