Seasoned Song of Solitude

by Victoria   Sep 16, 2006

The scent of spring, the budding of flowers
Will not bring you back, as I stand paralyzed
When summer comes, it\'s rain at dawn
Drawing close to you, I gather the fragments

And shortly after autumn passes
I\'ll cut off all that hair, you told me to grow
Oh, beloved I completely forgot the sight of your parting face

The days that I wait for you are too few
Too sad, constantly sounding
The dissonances ringing together
That is the unwithering unmelting constantly sounding
My song, my dreaded song of solitude

Solitude, Solitude, here I come

Without even giving the faintest hint of farewell
The sound of your foot-falls suddenly cut off
Oh the melancholic and beautiful white winter
If I can see you, I\'ll wish for nothing more

What fell and piled up was snow, then too
The days that I wait for you are too few
Too sad, constantly sounding
The dissonances ringing together
That is the unwithering unmelting constantly sounding
My song, my dreaded song of solitude

Solitude, Solitude, here I come
