Daily routine

My daily routine
Is always the same

I try to figure you out
Find your secret ingredient

I taste the sour bitterness
Of my tears
I imagine they are yours too

I cant close my lips
I need to smile
To make your day complete

Every day I seem to find
A new flavour to your recipe

You change in colours,
Clothes and style

Thats how we talk
On basic levels

What if my message
Gets to the wrong side
Of the line?

I have no idea
How we are going to
Settle this

I used to think we are arguing
But how can we argue if we
Dont even talk to one another?

Its not us
Its people around us
Too many ears are listening
Too many words are being said
Too many souls to get through

The line is pretty full
I never thought that me and you
Would be fighting to meet
