Theatre of Cruelty

by Kate Kayuda   Sep 16, 2006

You are a prisoner
In his theatre of cruelty

He is painting your picture
To make you become
A new person to be

Its not your decision
You dont know how
To protest against his actions

Only one phrase
Is going through your mind
"Yes sir you are right"

He is right and perfect
When you are wrong once again

Black shimmery figures
Are coming after your past

The light of the future
Is fading with every new rule
He tells you to memorize

If he is not you
Than who is?

You cant pick
A colour for yourself

He has told you
What you have to be

Who you are now is not who
You could have been
